In Houston, coffee shops cluster around downtown offices, college campuses and the main commercial streets of residential neighborhoods, and the independents usually close by mid-afternoon while chains stay open into the evening. Across Texas, drive-thru coffee stands and kiosks fill the gap in suburbs and along highways, and roasters often sell bags and brewing gear at the counter. Houston is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. Getting around Houston is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Texas's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Absolutely wonderful staff at this location! The gentleman who helped us out explained the menu and even recommended drinks to us based on what type we liked. It’s a small act of service but it makes all the difference in feeling welcome! Only downside is its outdoor seating, but they do have fans blowing, and it’s mostly shaded. Our drinks came out hot, fast, and tasted amazing!

I’ve given this location so many chances, but they continue to leave out the extra espresso shot in my drink. I always order a Caramel Creamicino with an extra ESPRESSO shot because without it, the drink is way too sweet. After ordering it so many times, I know immediately when the espresso shot is missing. When you’re paying almost $10 for a drink, the fact that the most important part of my order keeps being left out is really frustrating. 😭

This is the type of place that I'm happy i found when i was divorced, cz i would hate to have to share half my time here with my ex wife. Coffee will wake u up, like an angry spouse at 4 in the morning. This building is a tight quaint establishment, much like my current apartment after the divorce. Service is AFFABLE and HELPFUL not argumentative and loud in public, i know a lady that could learn a thing or 2 from these guy! To make a long story less painful, I may have lost and a very expersive piece of jewelry to she who shall not be named ( kathy) but this hidden gem almost makes all of it worth it. Rasily one of the best coffee shops in houston. Especially downtown.

Got the shakerato giganti sugar free caramel syrup with oat milk. I think it’s worth the price for the gigantic size! I would return to try other things. I know it’s a franchise, but I did like it.

Minuti Coffee on Gray St is a great spot for coffee lovers! The Italian-inspired drinks, like the Dark Chocolate Creamicino and Creamacino, are rich and flavorful. The indoor and outdoor seating make it a comfortable place to relax, and the sidewalk patio is perfect for enjoying the vibe of Midtown Houston. The staff is friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience even better.
